Agricultural Technician

To carry out general farming and operate and maintain basic farm equipment, an estate in Kuruman, Northern Cape is seeking an Agricultural Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general farming, planting and harvesting duties
• Follow instructions and work flexible hours during peak periods
• Assist with irrigation, crop care and pest control
• Support animal care or packhouse operations as required
• Keep work areas clean, safe and well maintained

Requirements

• A valid driver’s licence or tractor experience (advantageous)
• The ability to perform physical, outdoor work
• Reliability and a willingness to work flexible hours
• ABET or Grade 10 (Grade 12 advantageous for technical roles)
• Previous farm or agricultural experience (advantageous)

Qualifications

ABET / Grade 10–12; agricultural training is an advantage
