Household Cleaner and cooking assistant - Part Time

Job Overview

Seeking a trustworthy individual 2-1/2 days/week to clean the home, water plants, hang and fold clean laundry, some ironing, assist the cook, serve and clean up Friday dinner for extended family. Friendly work environment.

Duties

• 8 daytime hours on Monday to clean the home; water plants; hang, fold and put away clean laundry. Cleaning duties include washrooms, kitchen, vacuuming stairs, making beds, dusting, taking out trash. Limited ironing.
• Thursday and Friday afternoons: Assist with food preparation as directed and cleanup kitchen
• Friday evening: serving and clean-up extended family dinner. Delicious meal provided for worker.

Requirements

• Prior cooking and cleaning experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently. There will be some supervision for the cooking duties.
• Reliable punctuality and strong work ethic are essential

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
